Ticket Terms

The short version, in plain English.

Last updated August 22, 2026.

Hochatown Saloon sells its own tickets to its own shows. There is no ticketing company in the middle — when you buy a ticket here you are buying it directly from us, and we are the ones who answer for it. Buying a ticket means you agree to what's on this page.

Tickets are non-refundable

Our shows happen rain or shine. When you buy a ticket that seat comes off sale, so tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless you bought the Refundable Ticket option below, or we cancel the show.

Refundable Ticket

At checkout you can add the Refundable Ticket option for 10% of your order. It lets you cancel and get your ticket money back — for any reason at all. We don't ask why, and you don't need a doctor's note or any paperwork.

  • ▸Request your refund at least 24 hours before doors.
  • ▸Your ticket must not have been scanned. Once it's been used at the door it can't be refunded.
  • ▸We refund the ticket price and booking fee to your original payment method.
  • ▸The service fee and the Refundable Ticket fee itself are not refunded — that fee is what bought you the option.
  • ▸It covers the whole order it was bought on, and can't be transferred to someone else.

This is an option on your ticket, not an insurance policy. There are no covered reasons and nothing to claim — if you ask in time and haven't used the ticket, you get your money back.

If we cancel

If we cancel a show and don't reschedule it, you get everything back — ticket, booking fee and every other fee — automatically, to the card you paid with. You don't need to ask.

If we move a show

Sometimes a show gets moved instead of cancelled — a band reroutes, weather closes the highway, someone loses their voice. If we announce a new date, your ticket is automatically good for that date and you don't need to do anything.

If the new date doesn't work for you, email us within 30 days of the announcement and we'll refund you in full. If we move a show and haven't announced a new date within 30 days, you can ask for a full refund at any point after that.

If a show goes ahead but something about it changes — a support act drops off, the set gets shortened, the start time shifts — that's not a cancellation and tickets stay non-refundable.

What a ticket actually is

A ticket is a revocable license to attend one show, not property and not a permanent right of entry. We can refuse entry or ask someone to leave — for intoxication, fake ID, aggression, threats, harassment, weapons, drugs, or anything else that puts our staff or other guests at risk.

If we refuse you entry before you come in and it isn't because of your own conduct, we'll refund the face value of your ticket. If you're removed for your conduct, or refused entry because of it, there's no refund.

Reselling

You can give or sell a ticket to a friend at face value — we're not going to chase that. What we don't allow is buying tickets to resell them at a markup, or listing them on resale sites.

We can cancel and refund any order we believe was placed for resale, bought with bot or automated tools, or placed to get around per-person limits. Each ticket scans once, so a ticket sold twice only gets one person in — and it will be the first one through the door.

Getting in

Your confirmation email has a QR code. Show it on your phone at the door and we'll scan it, or print the email at home and bring it with you — both work the same. There's nothing to collect from us, and we don't print tickets at the venue.

Each ticket scans once. If a ticket has already been scanned, or has been refunded, it won't let anyone in.

Bring photo ID. We can ask for ID matching the name on the order, and we will ask for it for anything involving alcohol or age.

Keep your QR code to yourself. Anyone who has a picture of it can use it, and we can't tell them apart from you at the door. We can't replace a ticket that someone else has already scanned.

Age policy

We do not tolerate underage drinking. Guests under 21 need an Under-21 ticket and must be with a parent or legal guardian, and must leave when the show ends. If no Under-21 tickets are on sale for a show, that show is 21+.

We card, and we refuse service to anyone who can't produce valid ID or who we believe has had enough. That's Oklahoma law and our license, and it isn't negotiable.

What you’re signing up for

Live music is loud, rooms get crowded, and people drink. Coming to a show means accepting the ordinary risks that come with that — including hearing damage from sustained volume, contact with other guests, slips and spills, strobe and other lighting effects, and being in a crowd. If any of that is a problem for you, please give us a call before you buy and we'll talk it through.

Follow directions from our staff and security. We can search bags on the way in and refuse anything we don't want in the building.

Photos and video

We film and photograph our shows, and so do the bands and the press. Coming to a show means you're okay with appearing in that footage, and with us using it to promote the venue without paying you for it. If you end up in something and would rather not be, email us and we'll do our best to take it down.

Some artists limit filming or photography at their shows. When they do we'll say so, and we'll enforce it.

Prices and fees

You'll see the ticket price, every fee, and the total before you enter your card details — no fees appear after that point. Prices can change between shows and can change while a show is on sale; the price you paid is the price you paid, and we don't refund the difference if it drops later.

If a ticket goes on sale at a badly wrong price because of an error on our end, we can cancel the order and refund it in full rather than honor the mistake. We'll tell you if that happens.

If your card is charged wrongly

Talk to us first. Call 580-245-6100 or send us a message and we'll sort it out — we can refund faster than a bank can, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

Please don't open a chargeback for a ticket you actually used. Disputing a scanned ticket is fraud, and we'll fight it with the scan record and cancel any other tickets on the same account.

Things outside our control

We're not liable when a show can't go ahead for reasons nobody here can control — severe weather, flooding, fire, power cuts, road closures, illness or injury to the artist, government or licensing orders, or anything else of that kind. If that happens we'll reschedule or refund you as set out above, and that refund is what we owe you.

What we’re responsible for

If something goes wrong with your ticket, the most we'll owe you is what you paid us for it — the ticket price and its fees. We're not responsible for what a cancelled or moved show costs you around it: travel, fuel, hotels, cabins, babysitters, time off work, or a night that didn't go how you hoped.

Nothing here limits our responsibility for injury caused by our own negligence, or for anything the law doesn't let us limit. Some states don't allow these kinds of limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Anything we can't resolve between us goes to the state or federal courts serving McCurtain County, Oklahoma, and by buying a ticket you agree those courts can hear it.

Changes to these terms

We update this page from time to time. The version that applies to your ticket is the one that was on this page the day you bought it, so changes here don't affect tickets you already hold.
