Accessibility
Tell us what you need and we'll sort it out.
Last updated September 20, 2026.
We want everybody to be able to get a ticket, get in, and enjoy the show. If anything about this website or about coming to the saloon is getting in your way, call us at 580-245-6100 or send us a message and a person here will help you.
Getting in the door
We have marked accessible parking spaces, and the ground is paved from there up the ramp to the venue.
The ramp at the front of the building takes you up to our double-door entrance, so you can get in without using steps, and the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair or a walker to come straight through.
Restrooms
There's a ladies' room and a men's room inside the building, and one of them is wheelchair accessible. There are also porta-potties outside, on the north and south sides of the venue.
Call ahead if you want to know which one it is, or anything else about getting around inside, and we'll tell you straight rather than leave you guessing at the door.
Coming to a show
Past the front door we're a converted building in the woods rather than a purpose-built theater, so the honest answer about what's easy and what's awkward depends on where you need to be and which show it is. Rather than have you guess from a web page, call us before you buy.
Tell us what you need — step-free access, somewhere to sit, being close to or away from the speakers, room for a wheelchair or a walker, a spot for a service animal, help getting from the car — and we'll tell you exactly what to expect and set it up for the night you're coming.
Do it before you buy if you can. Once a show sells out there's far less we can move around, and we'd much rather solve it in advance than at the door.
On the night there's no special desk to find and no particular person to ask for. Anybody working can help you, so just ask whoever's nearest, at the door or at the bar.
Companion tickets
If you need somebody with you to attend, call us and we'll work out the seating together rather than leaving you to guess at checkout. We won't ask you for medical proof.
Service animals
Trained service animals are welcome anywhere in the building. Let us know when you book so we can give you somewhere with a bit of floor room, away from the worst of the volume.
This website
We build this site to be usable with a keyboard and with a screen reader, aiming at the WCAG 2.1 AA standard as our benchmark. In practice that means real text rather than words baked into pictures, descriptions on meaningful images, labeled forms, headings in a sensible order, and colors we check for contrast.
We haven't had the site formally audited, so we won't claim it's perfect — some of it is certainly better than the rest. If you hit something that doesn't work with your screen reader, your keyboard, or at the text size you need, tell us what page and what happened and we'll fix it.
Buying a ticket another way
If the online checkout isn't workable for you, you don't have to use it. Call 580-245-6100 during opening hours and we'll take the booking over the phone and put your tickets on the door list. Same price, same seats, no extra charge.
Telling us it’s wrong
If we've got something wrong, we want to know — that's how it gets fixed. Send us a message or call (580) 494-3300. We'll reply, and if it's something we can fix quickly we will.
Ticket rules are on our ticket terms page. Hochatown Saloon, 28 Old Hochatown Rd, Broken Bow, OK 74728.
