If we've used something of yours, tell us and we'll take it down.

We run a saloon, not a platform — almost everything on this site is our own or came from the artists we book. But we post a lot of show posters, band photos and press shots, and sometimes one turns out to be something we didn't have the right to use. If that's happened to you, we want to fix it.
The easy way
Email Hochatownsaloonofficial@gmail.com with a link to the page and a link to your original. If it's your work, we'll take it down or credit it however you'd rather — you don't need a lawyer or a formal notice to get us to do the right thing.
The formal way
If you'd rather send a proper DMCA notice, send it to the agent below. To be effective under section 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act it needs to include all of the following:
- ▸Your physical or electronic signature.
- ▸What work you say has been infringed — a link or a copy of the original is ideal.
- ▸What on our site you say is infringing it, and where exactly it is, so we can find it.
- ▸How to reach you: name, address, phone number and email.
- ▸A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- ▸A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you're the owner of the right or authorized to act for them.
Leave any of those out — the signature especially — and your notice may not count as valid.

What we do about it
We'll look at it promptly and take down anything that shouldn't be there while we work it out. If the material came from someone else — an artist's press kit, a promoter's poster — we'll tell them it's been reported so they can respond.
If we ever host material from people who keep infringing, we'll stop accepting material from them.
If we took down something of yours by mistake
Tell us. If you own the material or had the right to use it, send us a counter-notice at the address above with your signature, what was removed and where it was, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was taken down by mistake or misidentification. You'll also need to agree to accept legal service in your federal judicial district.
Once we have that, we'll pass it to whoever complained, and we may put the material back after the waiting period the DMCA sets out — unless they go to court first.
One warning
Don't send a notice about something you don't own. Knowingly claiming material is infringing when it isn't can make you liable for damages and legal costs under section 512(f).
Our own material
The Hochatown Saloon name, logo, photography and site content are ours. Artist names, band logos and tour artwork belong to the artists. What you can and can't do with it is covered on our terms of use page.
